He surfed and then started windsurfing. In addition to founding Surfer Magazine, he also designed and launched Wind Surf magazine and, for several years, contributed art and photos, making it the leader in its field. His daughter Jenna was a pro windsurfer. Such a great man with such a great legacy RIP.

That's a bit said. I subscribed to Windsurf magazine in the mid-80's, still have plenty of old copies laying around. The mags were expensive and knocked around when they arrived, but always worth waiting for.

A great legacy indeed that helped shape these sports. The name Jenna de Rosnay probably makes a much more recognisable association than Jenna Severson for most people.
