Nothing like a bit of eye-candy while you're windsurfing, eh Susie

Yeah I agree with you divaldo, but you also have to be careful as I nearly got taken out by another windsurfer the other weekend at Seacliff. My new JP would have been in two pieces if we connected.

I have always wanted to do the 'sit down on the nose of a friends board while your are sailing', looks like a bit of fun!

You'd want to make sure it's a nicely-rounded nose though!
Could be a little painful!

I remember sailing with a mate who was bloody good. To push you that little bit further he would sail along behind you and just to windward. He would be yelling out good naturedly "sheet in harder ya wuss" etc. At times he would let you know he was there by bumping your bum with the nose of his board. Sure made you concentrate

Yes, maybe a starboard would be the best option to sit on, they are nicely rounded...

I ride a Bic Vivace, old school but quick, prolly not a good one to sit on the front of, very sharp!

Yes its neat sailing close and good spectator stuff, i remeber actually talking with the guy next to me at about 25knts + saying its bl...dy shallow just before we both went over the handle bars....ouch.
Sailing too close whilst racing has its problems,if your the one behind your getting the disturbed wind and crappy airated water and any chop from the leading board, in reality i think you need to be one knot faster to keep up with the guy in front and two knots plus to get past,if you know what i mean.
Another angle on getting close is haircut has been making some very nice vidoes lately my sail actually hit him on a gybe(sorry mate).
I wonder what susies real motive is.........

Gee Suze you make windsurfing sound social. I've always found windsurfing to be the sport of loners - the sport of sociopaths and serial killers. We all hang out here like spiders in a cave just waiting for clues to our next victim. I think Hot Rod might have caught a scent...

"now you get to work hard for a red star all over again!"

That's a good point - Laurie are stars transferrable?????

I think I will stick with this login, change my password and if there are any posts with bad spelling or shouting then you know its not me.

Great, I should be out there right now. In fact I'm going to have another look, there was noone around before but the tide was right only I'm a bit worn out from yesterday and I might save myself for tomorrow cos its probably a better direction. Gotta get as much in as I can seeing I will be a loooong way from the sea for the next four months. See you in the wind tomorrow (and they weren't spelling errors)
