I was bored the other week and attempted to sail off sawtell in light winds and 2-3ft waves with a North 7.3m. Ended up destroying 2 panels and ripped the leech on the first wave. Is it worth repairing or would the sail never be the same again performance wise. The sail isn't new, prob '03ish model

P.S Anyone know of an reputable sail repairer in the Coffs area. Thanks

Hey Mabbott,
Unlucky about your North, don't know too much bout windsurf sail repairs, but Pierre Gal (French Admirals cup/sportsboat sailor) has a loft for yacht and dingy sails (at least) down the Jetty near the boat sales shop before the Car Lovers carwash, just past the train crossing (on Ocean Parade). Pierre did good work on my Flying11 sails.

Good to hear of other windsurfers in Coffs area. Only heard of 2 others so far.
Have yet to sail Sawty, keeping to Bellinger River till nail skills and get non-cammed sails. Any tips for sailing Sawty?

Catch ya in the water one day soon (when i'm not dragged inland for uni).
