Hey all
I've gotten reasonably good at clew first waterstarts and sailing along clew first but I have some probs trying to flip the sail back. Any tips???

put your front foot in front of the mast to help keep the board level

As you release your front hand slide the back one along the boom up to the mast so that you have a pivot point for the rig.
Also anticipate the sudden lack of something to lean against. ie, stand more upright over the board.
How people do tricks and loops clew first I will never know...

good practice for wave sailing in perth with the side on. sailors from south and north of perth generally complain a lot about this because they're used to side off.

grab the mast just below the boom then pull the mast across your body to counteract the force that it would normaly have
