From a family on a cruise back from penguin Island WA that thought they could walk across the sand bar wish to thank the 2 windsurfers that rescued the family and saved them from a definite drowning would like to say a big THANKYOU as they were nearly in direstraits and had to be monitored by first aiders on the last return trip to the main land. I was on that ferry and saw them wave to the only two windsurfers near by in distress and they both came to there need of help without hesitation until the ferry could get to them and take them on board to the main land. As I am a local to this area it is good to see that all of us are willing to help anyone in need no matter what the sport or situation.
