Interesting read - very.

People who have done both think it is a dumb decision and those in the know say the vote has strange aspects to it. Hmmmm

I think with the pressure from some big names we will end up with both sports in.

Well I can't let you get away with that, please don't try and blame this whole fiasco on us.

That was a good read. The more I learn about it the more of a "fiasco" it appears to be..I reckon kitesurfing is a great sport, but I dont think kitesurf racing is ready for the Olympics. There's my two cents worth.

Your right B.Buddy - sorry to offend - poor choice of words on my side.

Couldn't and don't understand why any country would have more than one vote.

Apparently the Aussie rep voted for kitesurfing at the expense of windsurfing too.......

The last laugh will come in when they show the "One design" kite kit which is required for Olympic sail racing and everyone goes "WTF is that?"

You know Branson has a conviction for tax fraud. Just saying, not many people do know.

Given it is not in the Olympics yet (the final vote is Nov, and the IOC still have to agree) how does anyone know if it will be One Design, a box rule, or open slather?
