Hi,
Any one have any experience with using a 400 rdm with one of those 46cm extensions for larger sails?
How do they compare with a 430 mast on a shorter extension?
I remember someone telling me years ago that manufacturers put more reinforcing aroung the area the boom clamps on, is this still the case?

I wouldnt recomend using large amounts of extension on RDM masts, Ive broken 2 extensions from doing this keep it below 30cm or you will definately break it.

Just clarifying that it is the mast extensions that you broke, not the masts?
