Hi,

I'm planning on having a holiday in Perth with my wife and 2 year old daughter in March. Can anyone recommed a good place to stay that is close to the water & a windsurfing shop that hires out windsurfing gear. I think the swan river would nice, a prefer flat water freeride stuff, though can handle small waves. My wife is not to keen on sand so lots of grass would be of benefit.

Any advice would we greatly appreciated.

Nedlands is a great place to sail on the river, lot's of grass, easy flat water sailing, with a shop close by that Hires "WindForce"

The other side of the river is good too Applecross, and the shop is 2nd Wind, but don't know whether they hire?

I would agree Safety Bay is a brilliant place for Windsurfing, heaps of grass etc, and I'm sure you hire gear there
