Story:
South African shark expert Chris Fallows hopped on a surfboard and paddled alongside a great white to show that the feared predator does not pose a threat to humans.

The photographer, who runs shark cage diving trips off Cape Town, believes sharks do not regard people as normal food items.

"The chances of a great white shark simply rushing in and attacking a human are very remote," Fallows said.

The wildlife naturalist has dedicated his life to the study sharks and his credited with discovering the now famous breaching and hunting white sharks in False Bay in 1996.

This "flying" phenomenon has been seen on Planet Earth and Air Jaws, both filmed from his vessel.

Fallows began tagging sharks in 1989 and started a tag and release program with local beach net fishermen that saw the release of over 1500 sharks and rays.

His great white shark work started at Dyer Island in 1992 right at the start of shark diving in South Africa.

In 2000 Fallows formed his own business, Apex Shark Expeditions with his wife Monique that specialised in observing natural predation, breaching and cage diving in False Bay.
To date Fallows has undertaken more than 1300 expeditions to Seal Island and with his team catalogued in excess of 5500 predatory events, the largest data base of its kind in the world.

I can respect this guy - although, he's obviously never heard of Steve Irwin

or that dude who lived with bears and said how gentle bears were (until he got mauled to death by a bear)

Getting in the water with shark of that size,even though sharks dont like eating humans,,is just tempting fate.It dosent really prove much that we dont already know,,,sharks dont attack humans on purpose.
If they did,there would be thousands of deaths a day.
