Hi Recursion1701, The VX2 is a fully cammed race sail. 7 camms I think.

And not to pre-empt anything but it is a very old model may not work on current masts well (or at all). Race sails also don't last like wavesails, most are trashed long before they reach the age of a VX2 (but of course it may have very little use)

What are you looking for?

I'd suggest the VX2 may need to be an absolute bargain to be worth buying.

a VX2 is a much newer version of the highly accoladed VX1.

I owned one - great speed sail, even for its age. It also was one of my favorite chop-jumping sail as all the cams held it to a firm shape and provided a nice feeling glide in the air.

It's probably about 1996 so getting really old now. 5 year old race or free race sails are going to be pretty cheap and will perform a lot better. Maybe also be in better condition?

The VX range were great sails before some of the lightweight durability issues of the following series NP released. If it's in good condition it will still be great to use if you can pick it up at the right price. I still use my VX LTD 5.5m when windy having just traded in the VX2 5.9 and VX3 6.3 on something newer. They are fully cambered but not hard to rotate at all.

Well I guess I was pointing at that moment just before the A-box split in half / rolled ending in a nice crash. True Board use to be either JP's or Byron M's , 16" wide.
