It's a beautiful place to sail.

It's not as cold as it looks, but it certainly is wetsuit territory. Air temperature is in the mid 20ies Celsius, water temperature depending what lake you sail on 18-22 degrees in summer. Can't compare it with Australian beaches or Maui in summer when it comes to temperature, but neither when it comes to the crowds .

I'm always looking at it and thing it would be absolutely amazing for windsurfing. Less the lagoons (not sure how deep they are) but rather the countless beaches, facing any possible direction. Should be amazing wavesailing! If it weren't for the cold and it's got a reputation for BIG great whites. Flights not cheap, but would be an epic mission. Anyone keen? Im happy to organise it!
