I am trying to remember myself. Haven't been out for months, due to no wind in the west. Have been having fun on a surfboard though and it is going to be very interesting setting up all the gear and climbing on board when the wind finally does come back.

I had a bad experience on Saturday ... I saw a cloud go over my house and I felt a puff of wind on my face, so I quickly grabbed my gear, shoved it in the car and ripped down to the river ... NOTHING, NOT A, NADA.
On reflection, I think the cloud was actually where the missus exhaled some ciggy smoke and the puff of wind was the guy next door doing some blower vaccing.

sheezus I bought a (second hand) 8 meter sail for these light wind periods and there hasn't even been enough wind to use that

Bring on Global Warming. Isnt that supposed to give us more water and more intense weather patterns. Should fix both water restrictions and windless days.

depends where you are! bottom half of Australia will get dryer.
Increased water levels will start washing the coast away, forcing the goverment to build huge sea walls, (just like Holland). So there wont be any beaches in populated areas. I hope you didn't really mean it, it's going to be a disaster!

Decrepit. Nah. Didn't mean it. Bloody humans. Stuffing up the entire planet. I live on the Goldie and they just seem to want to stuff with everything up here. Kirra point is now a fading memory and the counsil is now grassing the pumped sand. What next? A new sub division where we used to surf. Australia was a wonderful and sustainable place 300 years ago. Though that was before windsurfing. But i am sure i would have enjoyed my bark canoe.

An extra 3m water level will give me an absolute waterfront.

An extra 4m just might ruin the carpet though.
