Got back into windsurfing last year had about 5 years off.
Just updating some of my gear. Time for a board update I am using a 2000 mistral now that getting to be very old technology but still a good old board its about 120 lts 288 cm explosion (very popular back 10 years ago) and I am about 88 kg. Building my rig around 2009 neil pryde sails size 5.5, 6.5, 7.5 V8 style salis. want to match up a newer board like a star board any sugestions. I should add I am thinking star board as I see so many people using them so that genrally means they are working well..

My two cents, Tabou Rockets are pleasant boards to ride. They are quite settled in their design and are not radically updated each year.

Whatever modern board you buy I'm sure you will like. They are a revelation going from boards that are around 10 years old.

If you get a board that suits your weight/skill and sail sizes/conditions and is post-2005 (last 5yrs tech) it should sail pretty well.

Match your sailing style with the board design and your set.
