If u mean the Central Coast of NSW then try Toowoon Bay near the Entrance in a southerly wind. Sailed there 2 day with only 4 other guys on a 4.2m sail & 75lt board. Waves were a bit flat but some nice jumps to be had. Also because its a bay u can blast around inside on the flat then when more confident u can head out past the point for some jumps & waveriding.
Cheers

Good cross off in a NE wind, waves can be good but it has a fair sweep down the beach. Otherwise it is excellent but its a national park so it costs $$$ to get in. after 4pm I dont pay as the ranger is usually gone home. Can get 1/2 dozen guys in a session down there.
Another place a bit further south is soldiers beach which is near Norah Head lighthouse. If the swell is from the south, and a good NE is blowing, it can be all time down the line waveriding
Just 2 places I sail but there are more in a relative short distance from these 2.

Some more thoughts:

Pelicans - just south of Soldiers in a NE wind. Great sailing, but a long haul for the kit.

Swansea Channel - in a strong NE, an ebb tide and a NE swell, it's like a mini version of the gorge but with waves.

I've heard about people sailing the box at umina, but I've never sailed it.

I'd love to try Ghosties in a NE, but the 1km+ hike with kit rules it out!

swansea channel is a must sail - i've had some amazing sails there

on a runout tide (essential), you can rig 0.5m to 1m less than normal because you are constantly sailing downwind - makes for easy sailing

downsides: if you break gear, you can get swept out of the river mouth; launching is a pain because you need to scramble down the breakwall

rig and launch from the south side of the channel

ona good day, there can be 7 or 8 guys out

i can't help myself because i love this region:

central coast sailing is underrated - the N'Easter is as strong as wanda/botany bay because of the flat terrain around the lakes

the NE wind is strongest after 4pm
