So it seems that most, if not all x6 masts have cracks in them, but.......HAS ANYONE HAD A MAST ACTUALLY BREAK AT ONE OF THESE CRACKS... or maybe they are not a structural problem. (fingers crossed)
Since reading this topic I've checked all my masts. X3 400 cracks in that spot 3 years old. X3 430 no cracks, X6 460 very fine cracks 1 year old, X6 490 Fine cracks _ one of the first into the country. None have broken yet. Most of these masts have had good use so it can't be a big problem. X3 masts are dirt cheap anyway.
Woddaya saying qldsalty, that bloody shop sold me a cheap dirt X3 mast uwaittil I see him tomorrow, I gunnu get him to at least clean it up phhhhftttttt, bloody outlets, ya just cant trust em A.
