no not the type of box you're thinking of...[}:)]

Bought myself a 34cm torquay fin for my carve 99 and of course when I tried to slot it in, the damn thing wouldn't fit.

is there any point in shaving the head down to fit it in, and if so, whats the best method? seems like over 1mm needs to be shaved off it to fit...

question - why on earth would a company sell a fin (tuttlebox) that won't fit into a box!!

the fit of the fin in the box is not just about the fin manufacturer, fin box size can differ slightly from board to board.

For the perfect fit, I sand my fins back using either p400 or p600 wet and dry paper. Take care not to sand too much!
