yeah like mark says, the further north you go, the more wind... i sailed at lancelin last xmas and we got 20 - 25knts with ocasional logo high sets comin through....BUT VERY CROWDED and the wind/swell was only up for a few days.....if i was making the trip i would sacrifice swell 4 wind.
if u r driving over....check out esperance as your first stop...if the wind is lookin bleak, cut cross country and head NORTH. If it's firing stop and make the most of it
