Orange is one of those words that famously has nothing perfectly to rhyme with it. The other one is silver.

Well, there is one rhyme for orange; the name of a British general and a US naval captain. Hence the poem;

"In Sparkill buried lies that man of mark
Who brought the Obelisk to Central Park,
Redoubtable Commander H.H. Gorringe,
Whose name supplies the long-sought rhyme for "orange."

Naaa proper names don't count. You could just call yourself or your dog anything like "floringe" or "doringe" and claim it as a rhyme. It has to be a useful word. A verb is good. How would you conjugate Gorringe and what does it mean? Maybe it could mean "to make up a phony rhyming word".... It'll never catch on... not like "Elmo", a very useful verb with multifarious implications.
