windguru,

Have been lucky enought to travel to Vietnam for the past two years. There is only one developed windsurfing area in Nam at a place called Mui Ne. There are two hire places that hire all the latest gear. I used a place called Jibes (www.windsurf-vietnam.com) that hire all the latest starboard and severene gear. There is another place further down the beach but didn't hire any gear there. Good conditions year round. The website also has packages available. Great food, drink, and people made it a great place.

Red, which travel group/shop did you use.?
Sounds like and from the gallery, looks a good place for a week or two off with windsurfing to boot. Misses can just lounge about getting a tan as well, gotta be happy with that A.

Mineral ,

didn't use any group/shop. Vietnam is super easy to get around. Fly into Ho Chi Min City (stay a few night to experience this awesome city) and then jump on a tourist "open tour" bus to Mui Ne (Cost around $6) and they will drop you off in the middle of Mui Ne. Super easy. We have stayed at the Full Moon Resort (www.windsurf-vietnam.com) and have had a great stay both times. My wife does sail and she enjoyed the $4 massages and the lazing the beach..

Cheers
