thats us goooorrnneee for the year.
i propose teams should be able to drop one bad month per year like in a race series you can drop your two worst finishes.
come on back me up here!
You can drop your worst 100 days if you like, so long as you sailed at least 112 days and those other 12 days are in individual months

I hear what you're saying, but the idea of the challenge is to get people in the team sailing together at least once a month. Whether it be mainly for the beers and a chat afterwards isn't for me to say

Fair enough Nebs, I was one of the first guys to support the challenge idea, and couldn't be happier with it's success.
I realise the goal is to get people sailing and socialising together, but for me, even though I only work 2 days in 8, I have only managed to get 2 days in Nov, 1 in Dec, 1 in Jan and none in Feb. I was that keen in Jan, I went out on a Starboard Start to get a sesson, luckily someone took pitty on me and lent me a big Starboard Go. Now we're about to get a 180 point penalty, which will just kill us, even though not many would try harder to post than me. We were never in it for prizes, and concidering where we sail, were never going to be a threat to TPC, SRM, MM etc, just happy to be in it and about half way in the rankings last year.
I'm in the challenge one way or the other for the duration, but it's hard to stay keen when you're trying but get penalised

We wouldn't be the only keen wanabe team who would benefit from dropping a month, might even make it even more interesting at the top

In the end, I fully suport you and Hardie, you've done a fantastic job so far, thanks
