Here's some shots for the GPS dudes taken today on one of the strongest easterlies for awhile and it clearly shows how gusty this place is so it's highly unlikely you could ever sail it without getting very frustated. Either way, it's a mighty impressive strip!

So Birdseyeview, whats the orientation of the strip, I.E.Which direction is North. Is it straight up the course? or is it more NNE?

yep the rowing facility, it looks good but for rowing it's designed to limit wind on water
