Does anyone know about this, and how or if it may be useful for speedsailing? It's GPS qualities aren't clear but it is apparently waterproof and looks to have a colour screen.

They also appear keen to adapt it to user's requirements. If what they promise on the website is at all true, it must be pretty powerful.

They do look good. hopefully one of the tech heads on here will be able to tell us if thet are any good for speed saling. Seeing our gybes in 3d would be way cool

Not really ideal for speedsailing, the GPS chipset is running at 1 hz with the gyro/accelerometers running at 20 hz. I did a weeks testing with them in September last year and the data wasn't very promising, we did a side by side with my 10 hz binary GPS and discussed integrating the chipset into their unit. Budget constraints meant they had to recoup some costs before they could do further R&D. The 3D 10 hz data my gps was producing was comparable with the gyro/accelerometer data off their unit but the 10 hz 3D binary GPS data was far superior to their 1 hz GPS data.
