Very well done indeed vando, world class mate, congrats

I just had a look Mal's site, and checked the alpha rankings, you'd be the fastest by a second

Three new PB's for Maximus. Well done mate. You must have had that Hypersonic flying through the gybes.

I should have put the GPS on today, might have been able to back him up on one or two numbers... wouldn't have been close to his scores, however.

Got three duck gybes today though, stoked about that

Thanks guys, had the hyper running sweet. Although Neb, I can understand cranking out some Duckies is great fun, are you trying both tacks?

We need a bit of a team meeting to sort out what categories we can jump up the ladder on.

Nice work MKSeven. I think your 5 x 100 is a team record. Very quick. Where were you sailing??

I was sailing at Manly, vando ended out quite a bit faster he was running across the bank but I persisted behind the wall: got frustrated at wind-no wind-wind-nothing-oh sh!t-wind-nothing. Followed vando caught up to his speeds but was pretty stuffed so only making half the runs of him, he ended up a fair bit quicker but I guess you get that being in the right place more often.

Fin was a bit big, Naish make really tight fin boxes- even tight on select fins with the spacer system wound down. Thus I couldn't fit my 27cm fin in and had to use the 32 naish stocker.

Starting to get used to the board/sail combo though, has alot of potential left and is great in the chop.

Hey there MR. Gestalt, good to see the screws haven't been tightened too much yet

Maximus and I have been trading blows on the challenge site, no way I can match his peak speeds on open water but still manage to match most of the other numbers.

Friday's my last day in Qld... I might have to make you captain of the team after then.

Yes we did pretty good, considering the best we are ever going to get in the 2sec peak and 5x 10 sec is quite limited due to where we sail. We will have to make sure we concentrate on getting as high up the ladder in the other categories!

Hey Fitz where are you at mate?

Hi Maxi, I'm still here, had some friends up from the Goldy last week so didn't sail. Gotta go to the docs today ,my dodgy leg is playing up, a lump has appeared and the whole leg hurts, I hope its not too bad. DVT is a problem I have to look out for. Enough of my troubles good team effort for October, give us some flat water with long reaches and we can still improve. I'm happy with my 5 pbs for October, we all did good with the pbs. Go Team SEQ

think we've got a bit we can pick up on 2 sec and 5x10, it's all about conditions and they are becoming a little more consistent. But yes I think compared to the top 5- I don't think we will be up there in those two categories, however you caloundra guys do have flat water...

Fitz, hope all is ok with your leg, keep us posted. You did great PB's in Oct, hopefully more to come this month.

Gb can have some great flat water if wind and tide are going the same way, as it was today and the rest of the weekend. Problem is the wind comes in gusts around the buildings and the sandbanks come up way to quick if you bear off.

Better than nothing though and its only a short walk for me, so cant complain.

I am hoping for a solid 25 knot northerly with tide coming in. If I could get a 35, then i'd be very happy!

If the forecast stays 20 SE for Wed, may consider Burrum Heads, haven't sailed there yet, but heard its good!

Who's out tommorrow?

Hi Maxi, the doc says my leg is ok nothing serious I may have hit it without knowing and its just normal bruising. Better to be safe than sorry as my old mum says. I may even hit the water on Sunday if theres not too much west in it.
