Well two scenarios
1: Is the Mid Elnino affect (according to weather guru's) which is a "nuffing scenario for us I presume
2: Is that over the last 30 years progressively, the pressure ridges and fronts have stayed well down in the Southern Ocean. Apparently a few lonely islands and outcrops have experienced massive snow falls over same period, supporting this theory.
Is it normal,? no idea, but whats normal anymore

we might have to change the name of our sport to "Calmsurfing" that might kick start the breeze again.

i noticed in the boards forum there is a similar discussion.

lows approach and then fizzle out as they get near land. seems other countries are experiencing the same.
