Thanks for information. What is your weight? Which windrange was comfortable for you to sail with it? What size of sail? How much speed difference did it make when you filled the cutouts? Do you have a picture of the filled cutouts?
at that time my weight was around 92kg
favourite windrange was 15 to 28kn
sails i used on that board was 5.8, 6.2, 6.6, 7.6, but sweet sizes were 6.2 and 6.6
for slalom sailing fins around 32 and 34 worked best.
can't remember how much faster it was with filled cutouts, but it was significant.
i don't have a picture anymore of the filled in cut outs, but i basically just shaped some closed cell foam and glued it into the conical cutouts and faired it over with filler and sandable primer. i faired out the rocker line at the same time which was quite a bit off.
that board would be 6 years old now... are you sure you want to buy a board that old. it should be so cheap that you buy it just to try it? can't be much more than a hundred Euros...
