19 Degrees and 35 knots!! oh for a decent sand bar ...


It's a pity the Augusta Sand bar got covered with vegetation (and facing the wrong angle :-))

Yes, it wasn't cold but the chop was a challenge.

As a matter of interest, to see how much wind was over on the west coast this morning (I'm in Albany), checked 8am wind obs:
Cape Leeuwin - WNW @ 47 knots gusting to 60
Cape Naturaliste - WNW @ 36 knots gusting to 48

Looks like more of the same till at least Sunday!

Lucky buggers, would you believe, none of that wind will actually reach SA...another dead weekend here...
