I was thinking I might be tempted to use my 85 litre wave board for speed. Does anyone make a fast fin for a classic box?

I had a Mal Wright speed fin(classic box) sitting in the shed, gone to a new home.

Having tried this with an upright slalom fin i'd suggest using something with a fair bit of rake.

i've converted a tuttle box C3 Venom for Chris Dimond into an US box fin for his Starboard Kode by just grinding it down into the right shape [9mm wide/tab at the front with bolt hole and pivot pin at the back and a little recess to aid sliding when pivoted].
seems to work great.

Indeed Boogie has done this for me and the fin is fantastic!

We all know how good the C3 Venoms are, but putting one in the Kode 86 turns the board into a super-fast bump board..... rock solid in the chop with enough board speed to crank nice floating jumps!!! The fin is a 30cm Venom so probably equates to a 28cm fin of another brand. I use it with my 2010 Koncept 5.7 in winds around 20-30 knots.

The fin is a great fit, and gives rock-solid performance.

If you can't find anything elsewhere in the market, then I strongly recommend a C3 Venom US Box adaption by Boogie.

Cheers.
