Nobbys weather station lost its wind readout yesterday at midday so I don't know exactly how strong it got, but judging by the Nobbys camera there would have been enough to get out and ride the nice size waves that had a bit of south in their direction. Which would make it the earliest NE ever that I can remember, for a proper seabreeze type NE rather than a "black" NE. (At least global warming's good for something ...)

Did anyone sail, or see it to confirm it?

3 tried yesterday at Gerroa but it was pretty much dead off shore with heaps of north in it...We failed. 2 got out today, Super light but more of a traditional Nor'easter feel about it. I've had a few nor'easter already but it's probably been more frontal then seabreeze...But a sail is a sail in my book. Plus I wore a shorty today and it was all good...Summer must be close

The BOM advises we are entering an El Nino event and according to the BOM, one of the impacts of an El Nino event is stronger seabreezes
