There is still a bit of swell from the weekend hanging around. Can't see much at the moment due to fog but this should clear quickly. Bom is calling for a Southerly in the 20 to 30 knt range starting around noon. It should arrive in Sydney mid to late afternoon.

I will try my luck at Windang this afternoon time permitting. (I wish there was a web cam at that spot). Keen to give my new JP Thruster a good workout. Given that the Southerly will be reaching as far as Sydney you can probably avoid the drive South and just hit one of the spots on the North Shore or South Side.

Not much on the horizon as far as a Nor'Easter is concerned. Friday could be a possible candidate but it would be on the light side.

I'll try and get a couple of quick shots once the fog lifts.

Update 08:50am:
As you can see from the pix below it's nothing spectacular at the moment but should make for some fun rides once the wind kicks in. Wind is currently 7 knts from the SSE. Wave are probably in the 4 foot range. But there is a long wait between sets.

I sailed at Towradgi because I got away from work late and didn't really feel like driving up to peggies..the extra 10 min, I reckon it would have been good although the tide was mega high...so reef might have been all but useless. Anyway due to it being SE it was super cross-on but good jumping. Windang probably the pick around here at that tide although maybe getting a bit cross on as well in a SE'r.
