LOL,

Is this is a pisstake?

If you are serious then its best to make this request on the kiting forum and probably not a great idea to stick your mobile number on a public forum.

Two options in DY.
Launch in front of the surf club on a Sunday morning during Nippers.
You will be very popular.
Try the wildlife sanctuary in DY lagoon. Clean, clear deep water and no obstacles.

Thanks all for the info. Um Im not looking for some wacko to get my number and meet me in a dim lighted area and chop me up into little pieces, just looking to get out on the water as much as possible, and preferably alive. I'v been a lot of places and the mobile number seems to be the best way to make contact, but thanks for your concern. The Dy lagoon sounds perfect and will def be checking it out soon. Does DY usually blow in the afternoon durring windy season? When is windy season and what meters should i expect to ride? Can I have some more info about the Lagoon? ie. launch, Best direction? Thanks.M.

Lucky you only put your number on Seabreeze - no wackos here.

Mesa,

I think KA43 was taking the piss out of you when he made those suggestions. I don't know much about the lagoon at Dee Why but it doesn't look like a place to go kiting or sailing.

Ask the same question on the kiting forum and you will get an informed response.

When is it the windy season in Dee Why or Sydney? Whenever it blows. That can be anytime of the year. However usually summer is windier than winter but its possible to have the reverse and its possible to have nothing all year.

There is a northern beaches graph now which is at Narrabeen, close to Dee Why. There is also the graph at North Head. They will give you the best idea of current wind strengths.
