If anyone has found and picked up a grey/black plastic mast sleeve that fits a NP X3 skinny boom, please call me on 0417 294 184 asap.
I was sailing north of the netted area today between 2 and 4.30pm, where everyone else was.
Harold saw it in the sand between the beach end of the walkway and water around 5 pm. The tide was starting to go out by then.

Tight arse.... cut a new piece of ice cream container, gaff tape some dish sponge to it abd away you go. Otherwise, park the car, walk for 10klms and don't look up. It could be right there. Seriously though (and do I really need to justify my sarcasm) I hope you find it
