Ocean Beach, Umina (Central Coast). Have a look on Google Earth.
Brisbane Waters empties into the ocean via Ettalong and across a sandbank. A N'easter blows slightly offshore and across the sand bar and in the right tide, offers perfectly smooth water and nice little ramps.
Low tide is at about 1pm tomorrow so after the sand bar starts to fill the current will be heading back against the wind direction. When it works it's special.

Great place to work on your carve gybes ... never any rough water as generally you're sailing in between 1 to 4/5 feet of water. Obviously during the first couple of runs you need to get a feel for the depth and also be aware which way the tide is running to keep it safe.
Used to be a really popular place back in the day and I think is starting to get popular again due to kiting and the resurgence of windsurfing. Always nice to be out there with others.
It's probably also the exact place where that serious kiting accident occurred last year but that's not to say the location is a particularly dangerous one.
