I'm aiming to get out on Tues.Maybe opposite Valentine at Dewey Pt/ Wambel park ( further east) or maybe the end if its suitable..Be good to have some company.Extra shark bait..

Its looking pretty wet . I was thinking maybe tomorrow would be less rain? + hopefully still wind.Just not much fun if you can't see + the wind might be up & down with the rain..Give me a pm if its ok & your keen this afternoon but I'd have to get going soon as it will take me over an hour before I'm on the water.

Rotten wind..[}:)] Went out of the end of Coal yesterday pm..blowing 14 - 18kts on meter consistently..rigged to suit..5.8m + 95ltre came in with some rain at 25kts so I sat it out..tried to start the 95ltre and realised it had died to gusty 10-15kts so out with 125ltre..few puffs 15 mainly 8-10 and died to 5 at the end.. got out of my wetsuit and back in at 20kts..[}:)]Oh well I had some nice lightwind gybe practise and it was lovely to be out in that area again. It felt like summer especially as I rugged up like last time when it was 8 degrees & miles too hot!
I fell off the car trying to tie the big board on in 25kts & badly twisted my ankle..argh!..I was standing on the door 'base' and I usually hold onto the rack ( the car was slanting downhill) but I had my hands full holding the board on..after a few mins of being curled up in a ball in agony I forced myself to finish tying the board on as it was threatening to come off in the wind..Grr then 2 more boards on urgh..luckily it settled down and hasn't been too bad except for a bit of swelling.
