Hi heading to Boomerang beach around Easter. Any wave sailing crew around?

I have sailed Bluey's beach (next beach south) in a southerly and Boomers can be good
if SE. It's not really a good time of year for wind but who knows...

There may be sailors on Wallis Lake or Smiths Lake if windy enough. Surf in that area can
be excellent & gets quite crowded. Celitto/Stiletto worth checking out for surf.

One mile south of Foster also nice beach & surf.

Thanks mate, let's check forecast but might leave kit home and take an extra SUP by the sounds of it

Boomerang picks up the best of the south swell but not as suited to SUP although will have peaks
along the beach. Bluey's north end ok as south end gets a bit rippy.

Elizabeth tends to be just shore dump. You can check Booti Booti as long open beach.
Worth a drive to One Mile south of Forster.

Seal Rocks also an option if south swell is up.

Had 3m + swell a few years ago around Easter time and headed to Tuncurry but weirdly was
only 2 foot as needs E/NE swell. Heaps of cars with boards motoring to Seal Rocks.

Water can be super clean and should be dolphins around - if you like them!

hey mate,
Im up there over Easter too. Drop me a shout if you bring kit. Couple of good spots north of Tuncurry that have a good wave to sail. If swell isnt too big, off booti can be ok. Would not bother sailing Boomerang.

I'm from Forster, haven't found anywhere to wave sail in a southerly or SE, I have herd that it's possible to sail Wallaby point in S also maybe a SW, I haven't had a chance to check it out after I was told about it.

No one else sails in the area so you will most likely be sailing by yourself so I wouldnt go out anywhere that don't look 100% doable.

Halliday's point and Wallaby point are good in a NE if the surf is right.

I wouldnt bother with One Mike beach, I live just up the road and there is never any decent surf there, pretty much always a 1 mile long close out.

There are a lot of places to SUP from Seals all the way to Old Bar, the best place for long rights is Saltwater point near Old Bar, just need S SE swell and off shore wind.

That while coast is super busy in holiday times so Boomarang will be super packed.
