only my second time at beach just this arvo and learnt the hard way not to mess with a reef .. cut up face/shoulder and broken mast base .. as i was leaveing saw pleanty of u guys out thier.. ill be heading back to nobbies on sunday arvo for a nother go . my names nick and id love it if anny one would have 2 mins for a talk ?

Nick take some time to watch what goes on in regards to the reef.
Your not the first to come to grief and certainly not the last. I do recall that a certain ship had trouble there a few years back.
qwerty knows all about trashing gear on a reef.
Might head to nobbies sat/sun but more likely go to birdie beach.

yep birdie will be much better on sunday and nobbies has a truck show there so it will be a nightmare to get a park.

Nah, Birdie is definitely open to the public. New carpark just been built. Birdie is a top wavesailing spot.
I will be there tomorrow if it is windy.
BOM says 20-25 NE for tomorrow. Have they ever got it wrong before?

if u say its a top spot .. does that mean .. realy big swell for u awesome fellas cause im still only a noobie ... ive been to nobbies but been smashed a couple of times and i think i need a beach wil smaller and less harsh waves

what about redhead ...crossshore in northeaster .. would it be small swell thier ?? ??

waves wont be big at birdie 2morrow,no reef only sand and norah head graph is the one to watch for wind strength. If its looking windy a few of us should be there around 3pm or later. birdie gets a stronger NEer than redhead.

ive gone thier once or twice ... i live at sunshine and sail from jonnies point down and into myuna bay ... upwind of shingels .. 500m or so ..
