If anyone is interested, we will be having windsurfing and kitesurfing parades, right off Shorncliffe pier, overlooking directly at the official start line. The parades will take place when we go on the main stage to present the sport.

We are expecting over 60,000 spectators watching the start this year. We invite all competent windsurfers to join in the parade. PM if interested for meeting place and details. Free shirts for all participants too!

We also have 3 exhibition stalls at the festival, come and visit us, mention the secret word 'SEABREEZE' to get a free sausage! More details: bluewaterfestival.org.au/category/home/

If you are heading out in the area yourself, please stay well clear of the exclusion zone as inidicated in this map: http://www.brisbanetogladstone.com.au/AbouttheRace/ExclusionZone.aspx

Hey, that is a great initiative, well done on thinking that one through. I am on baby (wife due any moment) watch so can't be there but I hope it goes really well for you and all involved.

How did the day go? I was watching from beside the bridge but it was too far off to see any sailboards / kites etc. Blackjack looked nicely powered up though.

Wind was very kind to us, we rode both days all day long. Thousands of spectators amazed by our presence.
