For all the people who make an annual pilgrimage to elanda - just in case you haven't seen this site, my wife came across it tonight.
Looks like some improvements, but also looks like a lot of back packers might turn up (6 shuttle buses to Noosa a day)
Better be careful leaving gear on the beach people might mistake it for hire gear (or a chance to recover accommodation fees-teaching back packers to windsurf)

I'm not convinced this is going to be a good thing. Just going to heaps of turos moving through. I like the daggyness of the old place, it keeps the crowds down, I don't see why it needs a bistro and a bar, and the concept of glamping tents is all wrong for this place. Time will tell I guess.

We can't begrudge the owners for simply trying to make a return on their investment. As long as the appropriate procedures are followed with regards to all impacts then it's a free world I reckon, it's really just a long overdue upgrade to an existing tourist accommodation facility. I'm looking forward to seeing what it comes up like, I'll happily pay my money to stay there .......... and if they get it wrong I won't go back, simplez!
