Coming up to mackay for work tuesday wednesday which leaves me thursday and friday to go windsurfing up there.

Bringing my board and gear with me... Anyone know of any good spots around there?

Anyone keen to join me? the wind looks like it might be pretty good!

if your interested please pm me your name and number so i can get in contact. Preferrably before sunday as i will be on the road after!

Thanks

Simon :)

Gday Alfredo,

Usually best bet to sail with others is at Illawong Beach, best time is a couple of hours each side of high tide. East point is good also on any tide. I'll be moving house but may squeeze a sail in at campwin beach if its good, winds looking OK tues/wed so far.

Cheers Phil

Here is a map. Just go out to the harbour then follow the beach to the mouth of the river. See kites out there all the time.
