Hi, Just trying to find out where the best places to go windsurfing are please in Queensland?? I am moving to Brisbane & have no idea where to start the search. Hopefully places from 20 to 35 knots if possible. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

wow aren't we all. Just to help set your expectations it may be best to hope for 15 to 20 knots...anything more is always a bonus.

Lots of places to sail though, just depends on your desires - Waves or flat water

You're on the wrong side of Australia.

Detour about 4000km West South West for 20-35 knot winds in Western Australia.

Welcome to 10-25 knots in Brisbane

But in all seriousness; Brisbane. You pretty much have:

North Side
-Redcliffe
-Brighton or 'The Pool'
-Sandgate

South Side
-Wynnum
-Manly
-Wellington Point

Thank you all for your help, Actually in Vancouver here it’s pretty poor sailing with lighter wind than the Gorge, the only one good place though, is where the ocean meets ice glacier water fed from the snow capped mountains so you have to wear a dry suit.
No sharks just Killer Whales, harrr ... People keen on windsurfing all head to the Gorge about 7 hrs drives south State side. Thank you again for your help
