Hi there! just saw this awesome forum and I have some questions so let me know if you know some good spots!
I'm looking for a spot near Brisbane (probably somewhere on the Goldcoast/Sunshine Coast?) where I can also rent windsurf gear. I don't have a car so I cannot drive around to other spots.. Looking for some nice wind and waves, but not too extreme conditions (heard that WA is more extreme anyway).
Any advice appreciated!

Golden beach at Caloundra used to have a guy with a trailer full of boards to rent. Not sure if he is still there as I have not been for a while.

surfconnect in sandgate or surffx (also goldcoast windsurf) in gold coast could help.

Think haircut has the right idea. There is a hire place that's on the esplanade at golden beach. I'm not sure but I think he's only there at weekends. You could try dieta at sunshine coast sail boards I'm pretty sure he'd hire you something nice place to sail if you get a decent forecast
