Sunday- as usual, course racing at Paradise Point Sailing Club- had 3 windsurfers last week- now we have a "fleet"(???) I'll stake a six pack of James Boag's on the line.

Thanks Paul, I appreciate the offer.

I just read through the original thread put up some months ago and saw that it requires membership fees and float vest etc. Also read through the Paradise Point website.

Is an annual membership fee required as well as the $8 fee, or can I just turn up and pay a fee on the day? Would a wakeboarding vest be suitable for a floatation device?

Thanks again :)

Thanks Sonic.

Paul lent me his spare gear to use. Considering there was sfa wind, it was a fun day. I had my support team paddling along side (and going faster most of the time)

Conditions such as today certainly require commitment. Great to see a couple of others trying this- it certainly gives time on the water- for perhaps a questionable reason. Great to meet you both Haircut and Sabine (hope I spelt that correctly- appologies if I didn't). Would be so good to actually have a race where there is a good, consistent wind to really get into it.

Same wager as last week- 6 pack of James Boag's (lites) on the line for the windsurfer division- still have the old F2 lightening as a sample board if anyone is interested- run your own rig but must let me know before so I can make sure it is on the roof- otherwise I just take my own gear. Great to see any new faces who want to have a crack.

I am looking forward to joining you this week end. But I only drink Pepsi Max.

Can do Pepsi Max- but you have to be first windsurfer across the line to get it- Lightening is already claimed. 1:00pm start- $12 race fee. Looking forward to seeing you there Tony.

Was a great race today- nothing improves skills like really close competition- I got beat today, fair and square in a great race= shame you got away from me in the closing stages. Congrats also to Tony and Cam for adding to the competition. Happy to make the F2 loaner available for this series. Well done on the win Clayton. Perfect fully powered up conditions. Best race of the series to date.
