Further evidence of Severne's Aussie designed world beating product

The S-1 comes across as robust, is well reinforced and it provides all features to be expected of a wave sail. This fine piece is garnished with a secret fabric material called e3 which is already on land an eye-catcher and it lets the sail feel very light during rigging

On Water: This Severne sail collects the highest marks. As the lightest sail of the group, with best on-off effect, lightest
maneuver handling and best level of control. It advanced as one of the test riders favorites, especially in rough and gusty side offshore
conditions with big waves. The soft sail provides a powerful profile when powered up yet de-powers again instantly atwill. Thus the Severne combines a very new mixture of power and control with a very light feel. Especially when riding down the waves, the S-1 feels like one size smaller.

You feel more connected, more like surfing without a sail. For good and very good wave sailors who prefer a somewhat softer profile, the S-1 is most likely to top their wish list.

The quite far forward located center of effort is not so accommodating amongst sailors with a powerful style who prefer a strong pull during their turns. All in all the sail requires a little more sensitiveness but it stays sufficiently neutral
even in lighter winds and sailing through the shore brake.

Summary: An extreme side shore sail that feels convincingly light in hand and yet has enough power for the North andBaltic Seas.
