Just got the 97L 2017 reactor as my light wind board and I must say I am loving it. It makes the average day a lot of fun (though I am still using my starboard quad for the serious big waves big wind day). Works great with a 5.2 or 5.6 sail.
Great in the waves, very early planning and good speed (which I was worried about because of the 2016 crop).
Works perfectly in condition like Scarborough or Wedge Island in WA (beach brake up to logo high). I have not tried it in mast high or bigger.
Not sure how much difference there is with the 107L.

The premium version, reflex ultra carbon.
It feels amazingly light, lighter than my 2016 84L carbon quad. Particularly obvious when getting some air. It take off effortlessly.
The only issue I can see with the board is that it calls for extra focus when speeding around if there is a lot of onshore wind chop, so as to avoid getting the short voluminous nose stuck into the chop (and thus slowing down the board quite suddenly). Not sure if it is something that happens with all stubbies.
Because of all the bad press the 2016 reactor received (too niche and too slow), the 2017 version that had corrected these flaws did not really get its chance. It makes for very cheap deals for an truly enjoyable board.

Just coming back for an update after having used the board for a season.
The control/chop issue was just a question of being used to. A season into it and I do not feel it at all any more.
I have tried the board in mast high condition and it still goes very well.
It basically became my go to board this season. I ended up using it even in overpowered 4.8 days and in mast high waves with great result.
