Hey - does anyone know if the caravan park redevelopment will take over the KP area. The plans look like the entrance gates will be opposite the old coffe shop. (behind where the road enters the car park)

Sounds like the days of access could be numbered - or I am reading the plan wrong

Bit of a bummer if they do

Update from Holdfast Council and some good news

Quote"The plan to which I think you are referring was the first draft concept plan. There have been a number of changes since then, including the appointment of a new management company to develop a Masterplan for the upgrade of the park. ******** commenced on 1 July and have only recently supplied us with their first draft ? not yet publicly available because Council hasn?t seen it yet. This plan clearly shows the boom gates in the current location.

As soon as Council have endorsed the plans I?ll be happy to forward a copy to you.

Please don?t hesitate to call me if you have any further questions.

Regards

Keen to stay accross this. Can be a great place to sail on its day. Would not want to lose it.

Hope this doesn't affect the wind and waves
Rig up in the other carpark if it becomes a problem.

Guys, this is my local too, and to lose any parking area would be a disaster as during sailing season, you cannot get a park down by the clubs. Does anybody know when the sand pumping will begin because it should create some great banks near Marino Rocks and out the front of the caravan park?

Problem is if they close it you wont get a park in the yacht club either - especially on a Saturday / Xmas new year - its hard enough to get in there on a normal weekend summer afternoon

Hopefully the new plans will be available soon

They are starting the sand movement project in September.
