Robe on a good day. Loops out and wave rides in. Special thx to Beardy and Pilly for texting me into it! Half mast as average with 4,7m.... Happy days. Big loops and OK rides (bit lumpy thx to lots of wind). Good with the Fanatic Tri tho...

Boys if the swell at Robe is puss I know of a place that might still have 2m and 20-25k. Just saying
I'll be on it regardless with 3 grommets in tow

Great day .... but still washing the sand out of everything after deciding to rig on the beach!? ....

My first time to hose-out board bags and mast bags. Any tips how to dry-out in the inside of a mast bag?

This is the second board wash ...

When i stay at robe i drive down the beach and then go up the ramp into the third ramp carpark to rig up unless swell is small and i need to go further down. This way you avoid lots of the sand. No tips on drying the mast bags. maybe stand up in the sun? i was thinking that it was a perfect swell for you yesterday Simon, not too big and nasty unless you went further down the bay. Was a great session. Got some sick jumps and a few fun lip smacks.

Pilly - how did you go today further south?

Mostly titty slappers but way cleaner than chop chop er I mean Robe.
Swell was a bit disappointing but quite normal for January. What was the swell like up north?

Every chance pebbles was cracking but its not kid friendly being cliff top, rocky, tiger infested and lovely shallow rock pools riddled with blue rings. Some lovely little beaches there but hundreds of meters away from the point.
