When i stay at robe i drive down the beach and then go up the ramp into the third ramp carpark to rig up unless swell is small and i need to go further down. This way you avoid lots of the sand. No tips on drying the mast bags. maybe stand up in the sun? i was thinking that it was a perfect swell for you yesterday Simon, not too big and nasty unless you went further down the bay. Was a great session. Got some sick jumps and a few fun lip smacks.
Powered on 94l and 5.6m Mostly titty slappers but way cleaner than chop chop er I mean Robe. Swell was a bit disappointing but quite normal for January. What was the swell like up north?
Every chance pebbles was cracking but its not kid friendly being cliff top, rocky, tiger infested and lovely shallow rock pools riddled with blue rings. Some lovely little beaches there but hundreds of meters away from the point.
