I did something like that as well except i was under water, temporarily under my sail and hooked into my harness. In a word, dodgy. Know what i wont do next time.

Aerial ?. Is that where to sheet in and launch off the wave ?
How big was the wave ?

Wave was maybe 3 footer.... Quite thick though...
