a few green arrows (forgot what they look like) and a strong wind warning for South central - why didn't this happen for saturday and sunday.

Anyone on it this afternoon or tomorrow - might be a chance at kent reserve or the mid (winter at sellicks thats different) or even Milang not sure when or what wind that works on?

Supposed to be a bit of swell comin too so fingers crossed - wind and waves - that would be novel.

Not sure about the next couple of days, but the long range forecast looks good for early next week... 20 - 25 kt NNW.
Lets hope the winter winds are on the way. It kinda sucks being here with bugger all wind while all the suppliers are on Maui testing next years gear in side-shore winds in their boardies!

Thanks for that Dave! I didn't really need to know that. Have a good time. Photos!!

I have just got back from a trip in Europe, there where crew windsurfing in spain and north holland. Next time I am going to Tarifa!! The windest place in Europe.

Has there been any wind here over the last four weeks?

DZUB - a trip anywhere sounds good at the moment.

- the only wind has been hot air about that freakin movie - slags in the city - I am so over hearing about it!

Need an Aussie male version "Slobs in the city" blokes eating food geeting pissed and having sex!

Back on topic - three sails since April it's been a good time to score brownie points with the missus.

Wind has been bad, 2 sails in 8 weeks, hardly good preparation for Maui, did I mention I was going there in 5 weeks?

I might go for a float even if there is 10 knots on Saturday, I am that desperate.....

As for SITC, I have to attend a screening next week for work with 110 screaming chicks, seriously could not be bothered!

Sounds like you guys are in for a cracker of a time in Maui.

I am going a funny green colour each time I hear about it.

Can you please bring back some wind, waves and warm water!

If I win the $50m tomorrow I'll see you there

Maybe I should go on another hoilday until the wind comes back.

Dave

You should contact Bert. He is going to Maui around the same time as you. I can give you his contact details if you would like it. It will be his 8th trip to Maui.

Looks cold out there - might need to use them to keep your coffee warm.

Looks promising this arvo - Sellicks or Kent for a quick sail late this arvo anyone? A mate said he is off to Milang this morning - he's hoping someone will be there to sail with - waiting for a text re conditions around lunch time.

I know it's wishful thinking, but if the forecast remains the same for Wednesday, its 'game on' down south.
If anyone's keen, let me know. Goolwa Beach will be goin' off!!!

yeah sellicks- 5.4 and Freewave - had to change up to skate 112 - a couple of knee high waves - went a bit light for a while (6.4 would've been better) then sun broke through and was well powered up. Usual patches and gusts.

Could be good this arvo - high tide though.

It was weird sailin there in winter

Russh do you work? You always are on the water mid week.

Anyway when it is light, like this weekend we should practice our........heli tacks.

Yeah DZub - I work - start early alot, build up hours and get a quick blast whenever I can fit it in. Not hard to build up hours in recent months with no wind. I live at the mid coast and have my gear on board aa lot so when ever theres enough I am usually on it (by myself alot) after work if family stuff allows it.

Heli tack - a normal short board tack success rate of more than 1 every five sails is my goal!

Yeah, I went down as well.
There was more wind in my backyard at Seaford than at Sellicks... weird!
Not sure what the winds going to do over the next few days. The forecasters seem to change their minds every hour or so!
Hopefully they'll change Wednesday back to the way it was earlier... Tuesday's a work day!

Yeah Seaford was windier than sellicks - sets were bigger at 430 but tide was eating it.

Anyone heading to Seaford this afternoon if it's windy - hoping for a quick blast around four O'clock on the way home from work - be nice to sail with someone else.
