Pretty windy over powered on a 5.4 - should have gone the 4.7.- a few nice big peaks out to sea but waist high waves on the inside - a few little turns and cutbacks - It's weird jumping on the northerly tack when you've spent all summer going the otherway.
A couple of the North Haven boys sailed all afternoon and said it was good the whole time.
Gonna miss out tomorrow and snapper should be good first thing on the high tide
There were no windsurfers out at North haven. There was about 18 kites but the breeze was 15 with gusts of maybe 18. I didnt go out as my biggest sail is a 5.0 and there was not enough for me.
I sat there and watched (cried) from about 3pm-4.30

The North Haven crew were out at the mid at U turns/Seaford.
Heading down south tomorrow (Thursday) if anyone's keen. Goolwa Beach is looking good... 20 - 25 kt westerlies and a solid swell (5 metres by seabreeze!) How much flexi have you got Russ?
Not enough for a whole day - maybe a snapper pre work dawny if it's blowin it's goolies off - how come this never happens on the weekends - look at next week mon, tues Nthlies again.
I've got the day off tomorrow to go sailing. Lets hope I can remember how to sail!!
So how was it.
Been watching the trees bending all day in the coutyard at work - cold sweats and shakey hands and headaches - is this the signs and symptoms of windsurfing addiction or I am getting the flu!
I sailed the Mid in the morning it was about 1 1/2 foot I was on my 5·0 and 83 litre wave board. The wind was swinging around the place. I got some ok waves.
Then I went for a arvo sail at Brighton on a 6·4 and 96 litre supercross. It was ok I was working on heli tacks.
