Stand Up Paddle demo day run by the local Carlton crew.
Okines beach, dodges ferry ( opposite pub, near school). Today 10-2
There will be a few sups down there that you can jump on and find out if sup is something you want to try/buy.
Okine Market stall on as well, along with protest against toxi dump at copping.

What a fantastic day, I came down to visit family and ended up checking out some awesome SUP's. Thanks to Damien and his partner Dave for the tips, you guys are a lovely couple

Oh yeah Fos , it was anti toxic dump in carlton river- Ive told you about that before you dirty boy![}:)]

Yep it was a fun arvo, thanks to all that organised and ran the day

I definitely recommend going to one of these days. They a great if you not only want to try it for the first time but also if you're trying to work out what size board to get, as they have heaps of different sizes and brands to demo.
