Forecast is for a good NW blow. Not looking for waves though. Any tips?

Possibly Dorans Road if not to northly,
Pittwater causeway is flat water, and often good in this direction,
Check
www.thspotguide.com.au - for Dorans info,
PS Johnny - Need to add Pittwater in as a spot me thinks,

Thanks. I'm at Dorans, and looks like a winner if it keeps building.

Augh, first run and my tendon (mast base, not leg) broke.
So, where would I buy a new one in Hobart? I thought I had a spare in my tub, but no such luck.
Now to de-rig and drive home in shame, without a sail.

See Damo, he lives in lauderdale and he should have one 0409854754. If you're lucky and his around he may even deliver it

I might try to get out at Doran's this afternoon or maybe Pittwater? Anyone else going out?

The direction for Mortimer Bay is no good for tomorrow, Dorans will be the best place to sail down south tomorrow

I am running a big old S-Type with a big old Drake Freeride Drive II 460fin. How shallow is it at Dorans?

As deep as you want. You sail roughly parallel to the depth contour.
See you there!
